Pharmacovigilance (PV) is defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as the science and activities relating to the detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related problem.
At Rawnag Medical Company, we are strongly committed to ensuring the continued safety and quality of all medicines we import and distribute across Sudan.
Pharmacovigilance (PV) involves all activities related to the detection, assessment, understanding, and prevention of adverse effects or any other issues that may arise from the use of medicinal products.
Our PV system ensures that every report of a suspected adverse reaction or product quality issue is carefully reviewed and evaluated in accordance with local and international pharmacovigilance guidelines.
We collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and the Sudanese National Medicines and Poisons Board (NMPB) to maintain the highest safety standards.
Through continuous monitoring and assessment, we aim to protect patient health, enhance the safe use of medicines, and contribute to national pharmacovigilance efforts in Sudan.
